About WCES

West Cheatham Elementary School, located in Chapmansboro, Tennessee, serves students in grades K-4.

WCES opened its doors in April 1968 with Hester Hewitt serving as the first principal.

The school celebrated its 50th anniversary in April 2018.

Amber Raymer has served as the principal since 1999.

Raymer said West Cheatham will always be a school that brings out the very best in every student.

"We want our school to be a place where children are inspired to learn and where they thrive as individuals," she said.
